There are just 4 simple steps to learning Italian at Language Speedway…
1. Look at an English word or phrase

2. Try to think of the Italian translation

3. Press “Show Answer” to see and hear the correct answer

4. Tell Language Speedway how easy or hard you found the question

And that’s all there is to it.
Language Speedway keeps track of which questions you know and which ones you don’t know. You’ll get drilled on the questions you don’t know until they sink in, and new questions will be gradually introduced at a pace that’s perfectly tailored to your learning speed.
Try it out
Here’s a list of ten basic Italian words. Press the button next to each word to hear it (if you don’t hear any sound when you press the buttons, go to the sound check page).
Now find out how quickly and easily you can learn these ten words by clicking on the following exercise. Hints will appear at the bottom of the screen explaining exactly what you need to do.
This particular exercise contains just ten words, or facts, but the exercise system is capable of keeping track of literally thousands of facts at once, automatically choosing which ones you need to revise at any point in time. This completely relieves you of the task of trying to organise the vast quantity of information involved in learning a new language.
