If your Italian isn’t good enough to achieve anything else then at least you’ll be able to find someone who speaks English. Remember, there’s no need to try to memorize any of these phrases yet - you’ll do that in the exercises below.

Italian verbs have different endings (eg. parlo, I speak, parla, you speak) that indicate who is performing the action represented by the verb.

You can turn any statement into a question simply by raising your voice at the end (or by adding a question mark when writing). The word order does not normally change as it does in English.
